Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is hiring a System Administrator to support IT systems, troubleshoot daily operations, and maintain server infrastructure. You will handle Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues, configure UNIX/Windows environments, and ensure reliable performance across devices and networks.

The role requires DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher, and 10 years of SA experience or 5 years plus a technical bachelor’s degree. On-site Annapolis Junction, MD with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Ten years of SA experience in DoD programs with a technical bachelor’s degree.
• IAT Level I compliance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree may be substituted with 5 years of SA experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 support for IT systems and infrastructure.

Description

We are seeking a System Administrator who provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Ten (10) years experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity with a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
