Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking an Enterprise - System Integration Engineer to administer, upgrade, install, test, and integrate Linux and Windows platforms. The role includes documenting installations and providing Tier 3 support while leading software integration efforts in lab and field environments.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in system administration, software integration, and technical leadership, and holds a Top-Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Twelve years of experience as a software integrator, tester, system administrator, or systems engineer.
• Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Linux/Windows OS and software.
• Develop and maintain build, staging, testing, and integration environments.
• Provide Tier 3 support for system failures and troubleshooting.
• Lead software integration and testing; ensure QA of integration processes.
• Prepare technical documentation for installations and upgrades.
• Provide technical leadership to less experienced engineers.
• Monitor system performance and security; assess architecture changes.

Description

We are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to perform system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, testing, integration, and configuration of Linux and Windows platforms.

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain operating system and software applications
• Maintain and develop the environment for hardware and software systems builds, staging, testing, and integration
• Perform system, sub-system, and equipment racking, stacking, testing, and software integration at field sites and local lab environments
• Prepare and update technical documentation for system and software installations, sustainment, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Provide Tier 3 support for system failures and degradation problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
• Provide technical support to software development and integration efforts in the lab and during field installations
• Create system-specific software baselines and related configuration files in preparation for new deployments or system upgrades
• Provide in-depth trouble-shooting of IT systems
• Provide technical leadership to less experienced engineers
• Analyze and resolve complex system and integration problems
• Monitor and assess system performance and security, and assist in determining the system impact, cost, risk, and recommended architecture changes
• Serve as technical lead for software integration and testing
• Ensure quality assurance of software integration test processes and products

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required; or twelve (12) years of experience as a software integrator, tester, system administrator, or systems engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity; or a Master’s Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the total years of experience to ten (10); or in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted.
