Amentum seeks an Enterprise Systems Administrator to support DoD programs at Schriever Space Force Base, CO or Redstone Arsenal, AL. The role centers on Windows Server administration, cloud and SaaS environments, containerization, and secure operations.

You will manage Kubernetes workloads, automation with PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, and collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and cloud teams to maintain availability, security, and compliance with STIG guidelines and DoD 8570/8140 Level II

Formación

• Must have 1 year or more of directly related experience.
• Experience administering and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server environments (preferably 2022/2025).
• Experience implementing defined cybersecurity controls, vulnerability remediation, STIG compliance activities.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes deployments, namespaces, RBAC, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting cloud-hosted or SaaS applications including tenant administration and incident coordination.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical documentation skills; ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or hybrid-cloud environments.
• Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell preferred; Python/Bash/Ansible/Terraform familiarity).
• Experience establishing and following documented technical processes.
• DoD 8570/8140-aligned Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) as required.
• Active DoW Secret Security Clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (Windows Server 2022/2025).
• Maintain OS and application configurations; patching, vulnerability remediation, STIG compliance.
• Support virtualization, hybrid-cloud, and SaaS environments; tenant administration and access management.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot containerized applications and registries.
• Support Kubernetes platforms/workloads; RBAC, namespaces, configuration and secret management.
• Assist with automation and repeatable deployment using PowerShell, DSC, Ansible, Terraform.
• Monitor availability, performance, and security posture of systems and containers.
• Respond to incidents and service requests; document troubleshooting and actions.
