Job summary

Seneca Resources seeks an experienced Systems Administrator - Intermediate to join the State of Alabama's Office of Information Technology in Montgomery, AL. You will manage virtualization platforms, backup and recovery systems, cloud storage, and related infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient IT operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of enterprise systems administration experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Windows Server and Microsoft 365.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and identity/access management including Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain critical systems.
• Develop automation scripts and support disaster recovery exercises.
• Document procedures and maintain security and performance standards.
