Erias Ventures is seeking a technical Systems Engineer to join a DevOps team building a Kubernetes environment for ANSWERLAKE services across multiple platforms.

Candidates must have 14 years of SE experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; a TS/SCI with poly is required and partial telework may be available. The role emphasizes Linux CLI, security compliance, and Atlassian tools within a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with Linux CLI and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Familiarity with SSP security compliance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Join a DevOps team building a Kubernetes environment to host ANSWERLAKE services across platforms.
• Configure network policies within a cluster and ensure system sustainment and patching.
• Support compliance efforts related to corporate security policies.

Description

We are seeking a technical Systems Engineer to join an existing DevOps team that is working to build out a Kubernetes environment to host ANSWERLAKE services across multiple platforms.

This position may allow for partial telework.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Required skills

• Experience with Linux CLI
• Experience with building out Kubernetes infrastructure including configuring network policies within a cluster
• Experience with system sustainment and compliance including system patching and SSP management
• Experience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and procedures
• Experience using the Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, Jira, etc.)

Desired skills

• Understanding of or experience with tools such as Terraform, Salt, and Ansible
• Understanding of or experience with tools such as Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm
• Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards
• Understanding of or experience with Grafana dashboards
• Security+ certification (CWIP)

Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $225,000 - $250,000.
