Job summary

Erias Ventures seeks a Systems Engineer to collaborate with customer stakeholders on a closed system across Capabilities and Operations. The role requires strong Linux administration skills, scripting in Bash/Python, and experience with containerization (Docker/Podman/containerd) and security compliance.

Seven years of SE experience is required, with a BS in a related field (or five additional years of experience in lieu of a degree).

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Proficiency using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools; administering Linux systems.
• Experience developing automation scripts (Bash/Python).
• Experience with the Agency’s STE/STN security compliance requirements and adherence to policies.
• Familiar with basic Cisco switch configuration; containerization with Docker, Podman, containerd.
• Experience creating and maintaining clear, accessible technical documentation.

• Lead Systems Engineering efforts and plan/coordinate activities across programs.

Description

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
