Erias Ventures seeks a DevOps Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to design, deploy, and support scalable CI/CD pipelines and hybrid cloud environments. You will work with Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Python and Bash, and collaborate across teams to secure and automate mission-critical systems.

Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with experience in network infrastructure, Linux administration, automation, and system troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network technologies, scripting with Python and Bash, and experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. May substitute four years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Two (2) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps. May substitute two years' experience with MS in Engineering or CS.

Required skills:

• Recent experience within the last three (3) years in Kubernetes
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years in cluster orchestration
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years containerization
• Experience performing network services from design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of LAN/CAN/WAN networks; administration of Arista and Cisco devices; configuring and optimizing networks to connect front‑end and back‑end components
• Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and troubleshooting; proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab and using infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Ansible or Terraform
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, managing and configuring Kubernetes clusters for high availability, scalability, and security
• Experience with management and monitoring of hybrid cloud/virtualized environments
• Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+)
• CCNA certification
• Be available for 24/7 call-in support for operational system critical discrepancies
• Willing to travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
