Job summary
Starbucks Coffee Company seeks a senior manager, Climate Action, to translate climate strategy into actionable plans across the enterprise. Qualifications
- 10+ years in climate strategy, sustainability, or policy with leadership experience.
- Proven ability to translate strategy into action and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong communication and external representation experience.
Responsibilities
- Advise Starbucks leadership on climate risks, opportunities, and strategic decisions.
- Refine and lead enterprise climate strategy, net-zero pathways, and integration into planning and capital allocation.
- Oversee greenhouse gas accounting, emissions tracking, and decarbonization planning.
- Drive collaboration across sustainability, operations, finance, legal, and public affairs.
- Represent Starbucks in coalitions, industry groups, and with NGOs/government partners.
- Provide subject matter leadership on Forest, Land & Agriculture emissions reductions.
