Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Storage Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced enterprise environment. You will plan, install, configure, and maintain storage solutions, supporting SAN/NAS infrastructure and storage arrays while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable storage services.

Responsibilities include performance analysis, capacity management, automation usage, and coordination with vendors to implement new storage arrays.

Qualifications

2–4 years of related storage administration experience in a medium to large distributed environment.
Knowledge of SAN/NAS infrastructure, storage arrays, Fibre Channel, zoning, provisioning, RAID, and data protection.
Experience with Brocade SAN technology and with HPE and Dell storage arrays.

Responsibilities

Perform storage performance trend analysis and manage capacity provisioning and reclamation.
Use automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools to identify and respond to problems and escalate when needed.
Work with vendors to install and configure new storage arrays and perform SAN zoning and troubleshooting.
Participate in upgrades, data protection activities, and retirement of older storage systems.
