Job summary

Mathpix is seeking a Solutions Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers using our OCR and document-conversion technology at scale. You will join calls, learn how customers actually use the product, and help them realize more value and adoption.

This role is for a customer-facing engineer who can review code, understand a customer's pipeline, and debug an integration while building trust with customers. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with ability to read code, understand API integrations and debug customer pipelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with customers.
• Ability to translate customer needs into clear specs for engineers and document decisions.

Responsibilities

• Join enterprise and prospect calls with sales, handling technical and use-case parts.
• Document each account's real use cases, pain points, and expansion opportunities.
• Guide integration and adoption, provide benchmarks, and drive usage on trusted accounts.
• Close the loop with product/engineering: turn gaps into fixes, specs, and feature requests.
• Reproduce and triage customer issues, implement small fixes, and draft larger specs.
