Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company is seeking a Software Engineering Manager – Enterprise Solutions to build and lead a capable team delivering secure, scalable enterprise software. You will set expectations, align work with capacity, and drive ADLC practices to improve quality and delivery.

You will oversee cloud-native and integration work across AWS, .NET, Salesforce, and RFID technologies, collaborating with Architecture, Security, DevOps, and business partners to meet reliability and maintainability

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline.
10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years leading enterprise applications teams.
Experience as Principal Software Engineer preferred.
Strong leadership, performance management, and succession planning.

Responsibilities

Direct management of a software engineers team with clear outputs and feedback.
Assess and deliver enterprise solutions meeting security, reliability, maintainability requirements.
Prioritize requests, commitments, and deployments balancing team capacity.
Assess high-risk designs across cloud-native solutions, Salesforce, .NET RFID integrations.
Resolve impediments and coordinate with Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Platform, and DevOps for resolution.
Establish and maintain standards for architecture, secure development, code review, testing, documentation, deployment, observability, and production readiness.
Coordinate with business, architecture, security, infrastructure, platform, and DevOps teams to align requirements and acceptance criteria.
Monitor emerging AI and ADLC practices and coach engineers on applying relevant technologies.
