Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX, seeks a Technology Server Specialist II to manage the hospital's server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, SAN/NAS storage, disaster recovery, and end-user systems. The role reports to the Director of Technology Operations.

The candidate will install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, work with storage fabrics, Active Directory, Exchange, and backup systems, and provide 24/7 support with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems is required.
At least 3 years of enterprise infrastructure experience.
Advanced skills in managing virtual and physical server environments with Windows and Linux.
Experience with SAN, NAS, and fabrics (Dell/EMC, HPE, Brocade).
Knowledge of Exchange, Active Directory, and backup management.

Responsibilities

Promotes the facility mission, vision and values by effectively communicating them to others.
Install, configure, and maintain hospital server infrastructure.
Resolve complex server, storage, email, AD, backup and DR issues.
Research, analyze, test, and report on new technologies for the compute environment.
Provide documentation and governance for staff and vendors; maintain inventory.
Provide 24/7 support and participate in on-call rotation.
