Job summary

Florida Crystals Corporation is seeking an experienced Principal IT Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise security controls across hybrid environments. The role focuses on Zero Trust, microsegmentation, secure connectivity, identity, and defense‑in‑depth with collaboration across infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams.

You will develop security architectures for data centers, cloud platforms, and plant interfaces, while driving incident response

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Eight or more years of relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, CCSP, or similar enterprise security certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate enterprise security controls across endpoints, servers, data, cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.
• Lead network microsegmentation and zone‑based architectures across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Serve as SME for security integrations and authentication elements: MFA, SSO, and email security solutions.
• Engineer secure connectivity between corporate IT and plant networks at the IT/OT boundary.
• Collaborate with teams to design and review security architectures for new and existing systems.
• Implement and administer security tools including EDR, SIEM/SOC integrations, vulnerability management.
