Job summary

Florida Crystals Corporation is seeking a Principal IT Security Engineer to lead security engineering for its hybrid and cloud-first environment, spanning data centers, cloud platforms, networks, endpoints, and business applications.

You will collaborate with infra, cloud, and application teams to advance the security architecture and execute the enterprise security roadmap, including defense-in-depth and identity-centric controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate enterprise security controls across endpoints, servers, data, cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• Lead the design and rollout of network microsegmentation and zone-based architectures.
• Function as a SME for security integrations including MFA, SSO, and email security solutions.
• Engineer and maintain secure connectivity between corporate IT and plant networks at the IT/OT boundary.
• Collaborate with teams to design and review security architectures for SaaS platforms and infrastructure services.
• Implement and administer security tools across endpoints, servers, network, identity, and cloud environments (EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management).
• Develop incident detection and response playbooks and support SOC during investigations and recovery.
• Drive vulnerability management across production systems and coordinate remediation.
• Contribute to security standards and reference architectures for data centers, cloud environments, and networks.
• Create and update SOPs and coordinate cross-team security activities.
• Provide mentorship on security best practices and secure design principles.
