Job summary

MetLife is seeking a Senior Principal Security Architect to lead security architecture across Global Security. You will own SAR outcomes, mentor architects, and shape enterprise security roadmaps.

You will partner with multiple tech domains to ensure secure, scalable designs and drive security transformation at scale. The role demands executive-level communication, risk-based decision making, and experience guiding distributed teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in technology with 7+ years in security architecture or security engineering at enterprise scale.
• Strong experience in security architecture, enterprise architecture, security engineering or cyber risk roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAR assessments for enterprise technology initiatives and provide high-risk oversight.
• Develop reusable security reference architectures and guardrails for scalable delivery.
• Mentor security architects across US and MGCC and participate in architecture governance.
