Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an Enterprise Security Architect to lead the design and architecture of secure systems across clinical and non-clinical domains. You will collaborate with IT Security, Enterprise Architecture, and engineering teams to align security with business objectives and reduce risk while managing cost and providing strategic input to leadership.

The role requires extensive experience in security architecture, certifications, and a track record of mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in technical/engineering discipline or relevant work history with security certifications.
• Two or more expert-level security platform or capability certifications.
• Nine years in a dedicated IT security engineering role with leading security initiatives.
• Minimum of four years in security architect roles.
• Minimum of two years in security project delivery roles including contracting, design and implementation.
• Experience developing enterprise cybersecurity strategy and mentoring juniors.
• Healthcare security experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with business leaders and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develops complex enterprise security architecture strategies aligning with quality, growth, and risk directives.
• Aligns security architecture and engineering with IT strategies and cybersecurity goals.
• Reduces costs by optimizing IT/IT Security infrastructure and drives adoption of new technologies.
• Participates in On-Call rotation and other duties as assigned.
