Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an experienced Information Security Architect to design and promote secure enterprise solutions aligned to business goals.

You will lead security architecture across applications, infrastructure, cloud, and networking, shaping patterns, standards, and controls. You will collaborate with product, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure secure design, perform threat modeling, guide governance and risk activities, and drive continuous improvement in security practices while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 7-8+ years of information security/architecture across IT domains (apps, infra, cloud, networking).
• Knowledge of enterprise security architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA or similar).
• Ability to translate business needs into technical architecture solutions.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain security reference architectures, patterns, and standards across the enterprise.
• Provide secure design guidance to product teams, DevOps, Infrastructure & Operations, and application teams.
• Ensure solutions align with security architecture standards and enterprise controls.
• Conduct architecture reviews, including threat modeling for high-risk implementations.
• Drive the enterprise security architecture strategy and roadmap.
