Job description

Snaphomz is hiring its first US enterprise seller for Paceline, our AI platform for engineering teams. You will own the full sales cycle into engineering and security leadership at large organizations, and you will be the first person here whose job is closing them.

What you are selling

Paceline brings AI assistance to software teams in a way built for companies with strict requirements about where their work lives and who approves what. It is designed for organizations that need control and oversight, not just speed.

Your buyers are engineering leaders who want the productivity, and security leaders who have to sign off. Winning means convincing both. We will brief you fully on the product, the market and how we position against the alternatives once you are in process. And we are looking for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions to support our U.S enterprise sales operations.

What you will do

You are the first seller, so you are building the motion rather than running one that already exists.

  • Own the full cycle — source, qualify, demo, navigate the evaluation, negotiate, close, expand.
  • Get to the right buyer. Budget usually sits with engineering leadership; sign-off sits with security. Both need to be in the room early.
  • Run the security and procurement review well. These evaluations are thorough and they are where deals are won or lost. You will be the one carrying them.
  • Land a pilot, then prove it. Deals start with one team. Define success in writing on day one and come back with the evidence.
  • Feed the product. Bring objections and lost deals back with enough detail that the team can act on them.
  • Build the playbook — ideal customer profile, qualification, pricing, demo, objection handling — so the next rep can run it.
  • Forecast honestly. A number you miss and called early is worth more here than one you hit by surprise.
What you need
  • 7+ years selling B2B SaaS, with at least 3 closing enterprise deals yourself. Full cycle, not a hand-off role.
  • You have carried and hit a quota of $1M or more. Be ready to say what it was, what you closed against it, and what your three biggest deals were.
  • You have sold something technical to technical buyers. Developer tools, infrastructure, security, data platforms, API products. If your buyer has always been a business function, this will be a hard first year.
  • You have closed a deal that went through a real security review — a questionnaire, a vendor risk assessment, a procurement cycle with legal redlines. You are comfortable with the paperwork an enterprise evaluation involves.
  • You can run the demo alone. In an early team you will often run the demo without support, so you need to be fluent enough to drive the product in front of a room of skeptical engineers and survive the questions.
  • You write well. Most of this sale happens in writing: the follow-up, the security response, the business case the champion forwards to someone you will never meet.
  • You are genuinely comfortable with no pipeline on day one. The first quarter is prospecting into a list you build yourself.
  • Based in the US, able to travel roughly 25% for onsites and conferences.
  • We are hiring for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions to support our U.S. enterprise sales operations.
Helpful, not required
  • You were an early or founding AE somewhere that went from roughly $1M to $10M.
  • You have sold developer tools specifically: an IDE, a CI or observability platform, a code security product.
  • You have sold AI or ML products since 2023 and have opinions about which claims survive a pilot.
  • You have sold into regulated buyers — financial services, healthcare, defense, public sector.
  • You have worked somewhere with a self-hosted or bring-your-own-cloud deployment model and know how differently that sale runs.
  • You write code, or used to. Not required, and it will show in the demo.
What you should know before you apply

This is an early-stage role and we would rather be clear about it now. You are the first seller, building pipeline from a list you create yourself, in a market that is moving quickly. There is a product people want, a founding team that answers fast, and a great deal of room to decide how this gets sold. What gets sold in the first year is largely what you decide to sell.
