Enterprise Risk Management Technology within Functions Technology supports global functions like ERM, ICRM, Retail Credit Risk, Operational Risk, and Model Risk. It covers areas such as Risk Identification, Measurement, Appetite and Limits, Analytics, New Activity Risk Management, Framework and Policy, and Governance.

The Director, Product Manager

Must possess relevant business expertise and technology knowledge to develop product strategy aligned with stakeholders. This senior management role involves managing teams, setting strategy, and overseeing budgets. The focus is on the Enterprise Risk Data Layer (ERDL), a key component serving as a centralized repository for enterprise risk management data supporting near-real-time data acquisition for functions like KRI, Risk ID, and Risk Appetite.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of how technology interacts with various business processes throughout the development lifecycle. Success in this role requires competencies in design thinking, domain expertise, delivery, leadership, and collaboration. The candidate should influence technology and business decisions to enhance risk and controls environments.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Manage daily product activities including delivery, client experience, and communication strategies, and assist the team in prioritization and obstacle removal.
2. Lead the strategic roadmap for ERDL, guiding the end-to-end product development lifecycle.
3. Plan capacity, advocate for funding, and proactively identify risks impacting delivery.
4. Identify technical risks and dependencies related to ERDL and drive mitigation strategies.
5. Define technical workstreams and allocate resources for platform development.
6. Drive decision-making and solutioning with scrum and business teams to meet commitments.
7. Manage stakeholders including enterprise architecture, vendors, and risk management to build ERDL.
8. Identify challenges in technology, infrastructure, systems, and user journeys that ERDL must address.
9. Collaborate on system architecture, data sourcing, and database design.
10. Prioritize and manage the tech backlog based on business needs and complexity.
11. Ensure compliance with operational, technological, and functional standards.
12. Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and managing control issues transparently.
13. Exhibit leadership qualities such as collaboration, communication, influence, risk focus, creativity, and innovation.

Qualifications :

1. 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in management.
2. Experience in Risk Management and regulatory initiatives.
3. Understanding of banking regulations and supervisory expectations.
4. Track record in business or risk transformation projects.
5. Expertise in risk and controls within technology processes.
6. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and communicate effectively.
7. Passion for product development and stakeholder collaboration.
8. Proven experience in managing relationships and leading change.
9. Experience with Program Management Office and business stakeholders.
10. Proactive, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.

Education :
