Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) in New Jersey seeks an Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and governance of end-to-end system resiliency across the firm's infrastructure. You will define resiliency strategies for compute, storage, and networking, establish reference architectures, and drive high availability, disaster recovery, and cyber-resiliency.

This role requires 10+ years in infrastructure architecture with strong communication and collaboration with Cybersecurity and Business

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure architecture or engineering roles with compute, storage, and networking expertise.
• Proven HA and disaster recovery design experience for enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of servers/virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Linux/Windows OS, z/OS); storage and networking components.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions; cyber-resiliency concepts integrated with security controls.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise resiliency architecture for on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Define resiliency strategies for compute, storage, and network layers including redundancy and failover.
• Establish reference architectures, design patterns, and standards for high availability and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Business Continuity teams to integrate cyber‑resiliency.
• Oversee resiliency testing programs and recovery exercises; mentor architects and engineers.
