Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an experienced architect to design, evaluate, and enhance resilient technology solutions across the organization. The role requires deep technical expertise, knowledge of the SDLC, and strategic thinking about system design, deployment, and maintenance.

The candidate will partner with multiple teams to strengthen resiliency, assess existing applications, and guide disaster recovery, backup, and recovery strategies in distributed environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 7+ years architectural/lead engineering experience.
• 1+ years Java and containerized applications.
• 1+ years scripting with Terraform, Python, or Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams to strengthen enterprise resiliency capabilities.
• Evaluate applications and platforms for resiliency, recoverability, and operational readiness.
• Provide architectural guidance across the full software development lifecycle from requirements through production operations.
• Assess backup, recovery, restoration, and disaster recovery processes.
• Identify resiliency gaps and develop strategic roadmaps for improvement.
• Contribute to cloud and infrastructure decisions with focus on reliability and recoverability.
• Support implementation of resilient architectures across distributed environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed resiliency in software delivery and governance.
