We know that supporting your professional and personal goals is the best way to help our clients and advance our business. We take that responsibility seriously. With a 200-year legacy and a shared passion for what’s next, this is the right place to build a fulfilling career.

We are seeking an Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and governance of end-to-end system resiliency across the firm’s Infrastructure. This role ensures that our infrastructure is robust, fault-tolerant, and capable of rapid recovery from disruptions, including cyber incidents and operational failures. The ideal candidate has a deep technical background in compute, storage, and networking and can translate resiliency requirements into actionable architecture and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise resiliency architecture for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
  • Define resiliency strategies for compute, storage, and network layers, including redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery.
  • Establish reference architectures, design patterns, and standards for high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Business Continuity teams to integrate cyber-resiliency principles into infrastructure design.
  • Oversee resiliency testing programs, including failover drills, backup validation, and recovery exercises.
  • Assist with evaluation, recommendation and recovery features for technologies and tools for backup, replication, and automated recovery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects and engineers across infrastructure domains.
  • Ensure compliance with industry frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-160, ISO 22301, CIS Benchmarks).
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years in infrastructure architecture or engineering roles, with strong expertise in compute, storage, and networking.
  • Proven experience designing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for enterprise environments.
  • Deep knowledge of:
    • Servers/Virtualization: VMware, Hyper‑V, Linux/Windows OS, zOS
    • Storage: SAN, NAS, object storage, replication, snapshots, backups and backup recovery
    • Networking: Routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions.
  • Understanding of cyber‑resiliency concepts and integration with security controls.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare).
  • Certifications: TOGAF, CISSP, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, VMware VCAP/VCDX.
  • Knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and CIS Controls.
Success Metrics
  • Achieve defined RTO/RPO targets for critical systems.
  • Demonstrate tested recovery capabilities for Tier 0/1 infrastructure.
  • Maintain compliance with resiliency and security standards.
  • Reduce mean time to recover (MTTR) through automation and orchestration.
