Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.
• Six (6) years' experience as a SWE in similar scope is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Experience with commercial and open source SDR platforms.
• Strong understanding and experience with wireless communications, digital signal processing, wireless protocol analysis, implementation, and experimentation.

Description

We are seeking a Software Defined Radios Research Scientist to join the research and engineering team who will design, develop, prototype, and test Software Defined Radio (SDR) capabilities for wireless communications and networking systems. The development team will provide application development and support to core initiatives, leveraging a strong understanding of digital signal processing, wireless protocol analysis, and hands‑on experimentation with commercial and open-source SDR platforms.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Six (6) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, andcomplexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accreditedcollege or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similarsoftware processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
