Job summary

Community First Credit Union in Wisconsin is seeking a Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide projects from planning through implementation and completion. You will partner with sponsors, leaders, SMEs, and teams to turn objectives into actionable plans and keep work moving toward successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading projects or cross-functional initiatives.
• Formal project management training; PMP/CAPM preferred.
• Experience guiding complex projects through influence rather than formal authority.
• Strong problem-solving, sound judgment, conflict resolution, and decision-making.
• Experience using project management tools and applications.
• Experience supporting change management and organizational adoption.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication; ability to tailor information to different audiences.
• Strong organizational and time management; manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from start to finish, guiding enterprise-wide and cross-functional initiatives through planning, execution, implementation, and closeout while keeping scope, timelines, budgets, and objectives on track.
• Bring structure and clarity to complex work by defining objectives, scope, success measures, responsibilities, and deliverables with sponsors and stakeholders.
• Turn ideas into actionable plans by developing charters, schedules, communication and implementation plans, and training activities.
• Identify and actively manage dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions, escalating when support is needed.
• Provide timely updates on project status, risks, decisions, dependencies, and resource needs to sponsors, teams, stakeholders, and PMO leadership.
• Facilitate meetings and stakeholder presentations to clarify responsibilities, timelines, deliverables, and accountability across teams.
• Support change and adoption by helping teams prepare for and embrace changes.
• Partner with PMO leadership to refine standards, tools, and practices, sharing lessons learned to improve how work gets done across the organization.
