Job summary

Weaviate is seeking a Director of Product to own strategy and decisions across the Weaviate Database, Weaviate Cloud, and agent products. You’ll spend significant time with enterprise customers to understand requirements and translate those insights into a roadmap for engineering, while collaborating closely with the CTO on vision and with tech leads on feasibility.

This is a player-coach role, managing a small PM team over time while continuing to own key areas.

Qualifications

• Experience leading product teams for enterprise software.
• Ability to translate customer needs into actionable roadmaps.
• Strong communication and negotiation with customers and engineers.
• Comfortable making tradeoffs and defending decisions with data.

Responsibilities

• Translate Customer Reality into a Roadmap
• Run continuous customer conversations: discovery calls, renewals, and support signal
• Turn enterprise requirements into clear specs engineering can build from, with the underlying problem attached
• Maintain one prioritized roadmap that shows what's shipping
