Job summary

Ravago Americas is seeking a Power BI Solutions Developer to transform business needs into decision-ready insights. You will design, build, and maintain production-grade Power BI dashboards and semantic models that enable stakeholders across the organization to understand performance and drive actions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Power BI report and dashboard development within an enterprise or governed BI environment.
• Strong data modelling principles (star schemas, dimensional concepts, shared datasets).
• Practical DAX expertise; ability to build and troubleshoot measures.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with cloud databases (Snowflake is a plus).
• Comfortable presenting insights to stakeholders and translating data into business-relevant stories.
• Experience with Power BI Desktop, DAX Studio, and Tabular Editor.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Git versioning, or Microsoft Fabric is considered an asset.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Power BI Report Development: Build interactive, production-grade dashboards and reports.
• Data Storytelling & Stakeholder Communication: Present insights to non-technical audiences and gather feedback.
• Business Requirements Shaping: Translate stakeholder needs into clear specifications and KPIs.
• Semantic Model Maintenance: Maintain Power BI semantic models with star schema and dimensional modeling.
• DAX Measure Development: Create and troubleshoot measures (time intelligence, ratios, variance, YTD).
• Security & Access Management: Implement Row-Level Security and manage workspace access.
• Data Connectivity & SQL Validation: Validate data using SQL and work with Snowflake.
• Enterprise BI Ways of Working: Follow governance, naming conventions, certified datasets, and backlog-driven delivery.
