Axos Bank is seeking a data visualization and platform support specialist to join our Center of Excellence. You will work hands-on with Tableau and related platforms, helping business teams translate needs into actionable automations and reports.

This role emphasizes governance, reliability, and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced environment. On-site work only at our San Diego HQ with potential relocation support; remote is not offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a business systems analyst, platform support, or IT operations role.
• Experience with Tableau from a platform/administration angle, not just end-user.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical and governance requirements.
• Exposure to REST APIs/JSON or scripting is a plus, not a blocker.
• Bonus: Agile/Scrum, regulated industries, or SSO/identity concepts.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on in platforms, configure workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ship changes.
• Act as platform-side point of contact for Tableau, manage governance for developers.
• Monitor automation runs and logs; respond to alerts and root-cause issues.

Job description

This role will be onsite and located at our HQ in San Diego CA. or Centennial CO. location. Remote is not available.

Axos Bank is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented team member to join our Center of Excellence. The majority of your day-to-day work will be in data visualization and workflow automation tools, with additional exposure across document intelligence and digital collaboration platforms. You'll work directly inside these tools, helping business teams solve real process problems and making sure the people building on these platforms have the support and guidance they need to do it well. We're looking for someone technically curious, quick to pick up new systems, and comfortable working across business teams, developers, and governance requirements.

Responsibilities:

Build & Support

• Get hands-on in the platforms and configure workflows, troubleshoot issues, and help ship changes through the software development lifecycle
• Act as the platform-side point of contact for Tableau, handling changes at a platform level, resolving support issues, monitoring health, and keeping governance requirements clear for developers
• Monitor automation runs and exception logs; jump on alerts and help run down root cause
• Sit in on requirements calls with business teams and help translate what they need into a working automation or configuration
• Help onboard new users building on the platforms, at varying levels of technical access
• Review workflows before they go live and give developers clear, practical feedback to help them get it right

Platform Health

• Keep runbooks and quick-reference docs current as things change
• Help pull together periodic platform health snapshots — usage, performance, license utilization — for leadership

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in a business systems analyst, platform support, or IT operations role
• Experience with or exposure to Tableau (or a comparable BI/data viz platform) from a platform/administration angle, not just as an end user
• Strong communication skills, comfortable explaining technical and governance requirements to non-technical people
• Some exposure to REST APIs, JSON, or scripting (SharePoint/PowerShell, SQL, or similar) is a plus, but not a blocker
• Bonus: exposure to Agile/Scrum, regulated industries (financial services, healthcare), or SSO/identity concepts (Entra ID, SAML, OIDC)
