Job summary

Axiom Path is seeking a Data Platform Administrator to manage enterprise analytics and data platforms, including Tableau, Sigma, Alteryx, Alation, dbt, Palantir, and Snowflake.

You will collaborate with analysts, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure platform health, enable adoption, and meet governance requirements while driving modernization and integration across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems administration experience in enterprise environments.
• 2+ years administering data analytics platforms (Tableau, Sigma, Alteryx, Alation).
• Proficiency with SQL, scripting, and workflow automation.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, and data connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Administer enterprise analytics and data platforms (Tableau, Sigma, Alteryx, Alation, dbt, Palantir, Snowflake).
• Manage platform users, roles, permissions, authentication, and access controls.
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain platform environments.
• Monitor platform health, availability, resource utilization, and performance.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Administer enterprise analytics and data platforms, including Tableau, Sigma, Alteryx, Alation, dbt, Palantir, and Snowflake.
• Manage platform users, roles, permissions, authentication, access controls, and security configurations.
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain supported applications and platform environments.
• Monitor platform health, availability, resource utilization, and performance while proactively addressing issues.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, authentication, data-access, application, and platform-related problems.
• Maintain integrations and data connections across databases, APIs, cloud environments, and analytics platforms.
• Support security, compliance, auditing, backup, recovery, and data-governance requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and platform standards.
• Partner with analysts, business users, infrastructure teams, and other technology stakeholders to translate requirements into dependable platform solutions.
• Support user onboarding, platform adoption, and technical best practices.

Are You an Experienced Data Platform Administrator Ready to Make an Impact?

• Bring 5+ years of systems administration experience, ideally within enterprise technology environments.
• Have 2+ years of experience administering data analytics platforms, with hands-on exposure to technologies such as Tableau, Sigma, Alteryx, or Alation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and enterprise data connectivity.
• Bring proficiency with SQL, scripting, and workflow automation.
• Have experience working with relational database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Understand authentication, networking, and security concepts including Active Directory, SAML, access controls, and related enterprise protocols.
• Bring strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to investigate platform, connectivity, performance, and user-access issues.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Be comfortable independently managing competing priorities while collaborating across teams.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or bring equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
• Exposure to API integrations and custom connectors is beneficial.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise data environments is preferred.
• Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake, Sigma, or related platform certifications are advantageous but not required.
