Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Technical Architect to lead architecture and technical direction for enterprise-scale software and platform solutions. You will define end-to-end solution architectures, govern technical quality, and act as a trusted advisor across teams and stakeholders.

The role requires 8+ years in software engineering with architecture ownership and 3+ years designing enterprise-scale solutions, plus a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. This is a hybrid role with multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of software engineering with architecture ownership across multiple teams.
• Minimum 3 years designing enterprise-scale software or platform solutions as a Technical Architect.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years) or 6 years for Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture for enterprise software platforms, shared services, and applications.
• Define target-state and transition architectures, including system decomposition and data flows.
• Lead architecture decisions and articulate trade-offs, risks, and dependencies.
• Act as a technology advisor translating business objectives into pragmatic solutions.
• Facilitate architecture workshops, design reviews, and technical discussions.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards and governance (security, scalability, operability).
• Partner with engineering, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure production readiness.
• Mentor engineers and junior architects to promote best practices.
