Job summary

UKG is seeking a Principal, Planning Process to design and lead our integrated enterprise planning process, connecting long-range planning, annual planning, strategic priorities, and in-year execution.

You will collaborate with Corp FP&A, guide cross-functional planning, and equip executives with analyses to align investments and outcomes; the role demands strong analytical and communication skills in a SaaS, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in enterprise strategy or planning in a SaaS company.
• Experience leading complex, enterprise-wide planning cycles across multiple functions or business units.
• Experience connecting long-range planning, annual planning, portfolio prioritization, and in-year performance management.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and executive presence to influence outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to create executive-ready materials translating inputs into insights and decisions.
• Proven track record collaborating with Corp FP&A and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Excel modeling and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage end-to-end enterprise planning process, governance, milestones, and decision points.
• Translate enterprise priorities into planning frameworks, templates, decision criteria, and analytical requirements.
• Analyze functional and product plans, identify inter-dependencies, and surface gaps, risks, and trade-offs.
• Create executive-ready presentations and concise recommendations that synthesize complex input into an enterprise narrative.
• Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions, drive focused discussions, document outcomes, and follow through deliverables.
• Continuously improve planning processes, tools, and measures by gathering feedback and implementing scalable solutions.
