Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a senior leader for the Enterprise Payments and Commerce architecture within Cat Digital.

You will define and evolve the payment strategy across B2B, B2C and B2B2C models in a global commerce ecosystem, partnering with business and technology leaders to align investments with growth and customer experience. The role requires expertise in authentication, authorization, fraud prevention, tokenization, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise payment solutions, payment platforms, or payment-intensive ecosystems.
• Expertise in end-to-end payment processing: authorization, authentication, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, disputes, refunds, and fraud prevention.
• Experience supporting B2B, B2C, and marketplace/B2B2C models.
• Deep understanding of payment gateways, processors, card networks, token services, and digital wallets.
• Solid knowledge of payment regulations, PCI DSS, encryption, tokenization, privacy, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise payment architecture roadmap for B2B, B2C, and B2B2C journeys.
• Establish strategic payment capabilities enabling global commerce initiatives and financing solutions.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to align payments investments with growth and customer experience.
• Evaluate industry trends, technologies, and regulations to inform long-term strategy.
• Own end-to-end payment architecture across the full transaction lifecycle with multiple payment methods.
