Koniag Technology Solutions, Inc a Koniag Government Services company is seeking an experienced L1 Operations Engineer to support a critical enterprise server environment for the Department of State in Denver, CO. A Secret clearance is required, and the role includes frontline monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response in a 24/7 setting.

The candidate will work with Systems Administrators, ITSM tools, and change management procedures, with opportunities for career growth and benefits

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5+ years in IT or enterprise server monitoring/operations.
• Experience troubleshooting IT hardware including physical and virtual servers.
• Experience using ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy or ServiceNow.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor the enterprise server environment continuously and identify anomalies.
• Communicate status, incidents, and resolutions with stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot server problems with Systems Administrators and document changes.
• Perform reboots on physical and virtual servers using VMware vSphere Client.
• Ping, test, and open problem tickets for unresponsive servers/websites.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2 LAN Administrators with clear documentation.
• Apply standard and non-standard diagnostics to resolve issues.
• Escort and monitor uncleared workers on-site per security requirements.
• Maintain logs, incidents, and turnover docs for shift continuity.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 shift schedule as needed.
