Job summary

Lancaster Bible College seeks an experienced Network Manager to lead the operation, security, and lifecycle management of the college's wired and wireless network infrastructure. You will ensure reliability, performance, and security while supporting modernization initiatives across campus.

The role requires strong analytical and project management skills, plus ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Higher education experience and CCNA or equivalent certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in IT/CS or related field with four years of enterprise networking experience, or a bachelor’s with two years of experience.
• Higher education experience preferred.
• Industry networking certification (CCNA, Extreme, or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Manage switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, wireless systems, and fiber backbone.
• Monitor and troubleshoot complex network issues and plan upgrades.
• Develop network documentation, diagrams, inventories, and IP management records.
• Maintain network security controls aligned with the college’s information security program.
• Collaborate with IT staff and campus stakeholders on technology initiatives.
• Engage with vendors and partners to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Continuously evaluate emerging networking technologies and best practices.
