Job summary

LCCC is seeking a mid-level Network Administrator to install, configure, and maintain campus LAN/WAN/WLAN plus cybersecurity infrastructure. You’ll handle firewalls, IAM, and vulnerability management, with travel to other LCCC sites as needed.

The role reports to the Assistant Director of Network and Security, primarily on campus, with a standard 8–5 work week and some after-hours work. The position requires 5+ years of enterprise network/cybersecurity experience or 3+ years with higher

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; required for all candidates.
• 5+ years of enterprise network/cybersecurity experience or 3+ years with 60+ college credits in a relevant field.
• CCNA, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent; Act 153 clearances required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the campus LAN/WAN/WLAN and security equipment.
• Manage network security services including firewalls, VPNs, IAM and vulnerability management.
• Develop and maintain network and cybersecurity diagrams and documentation.
• Lead incident response and remediation with internal and third-party partners.
• Coordinate cross-department IT projects and vendor installations.
• Provide after-hours support and 24x7 troubleshooting as needed.
