Job summary

Metronet is seeking an experienced Enterprise Network Engineer in a remote-capable role to design, implement, secure, and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure. You will ensure reliability, scalability, and security across wired, wireless, WAN, data center, cloud-connected, and remote-site environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of network engineering and security experience.
• Experience with NGFW firewalls such as Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto, or FortiGate.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure and security platforms.
• Independently manage network engineering projects from planning to implementation and support.
• Develop and maintain network and security documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Respond to and resolve tickets per SLAs and change management processes.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver network projects and site deployments.
