Job summary

Computer World Services seeks a Technical Manager to provide technical oversight for CBP’s NOC contract. The role focuses on network infrastructure operations, modernization, and performance improvements across the CBP enterprise.

Responsibilities include leading Tier 2 teams, driving performance optimization and architecture enhancements, patch management, and serving as the primary technical advisor to the Program Manager. Travel to CBP facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Engineering.
• 6+ years in senior-level network engineering or architecture.
• CCNP or equivalent certification.
• CCIE and ITIL v3 certifications.
• Proven leadership and troubleshooting expertise.
• DHS or Federal enterprise experience.
• Background investigation (BI) of 5 years required by CBP.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tier 2 technical teams supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage performance optimization, tool integration, and architecture enhancement.
• Oversee software updates, patch management, and release documentation.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor to the Program Manager.
• Review system logs, analyze trends, and recommend technical solutions.
