Job summary

Advics is seeking a Network Engineer II to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across corporate and manufacturing sites. You will work independently on daily operations and projects while collaborating with IT teams and vendors to provide reliable connectivity.

The role calls for experience with enterprise routing, switching, security, and documentation, plus a focus on cybersecurity and change control. Travel to locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equal combination of education and experience required.
• 3+ years of enterprise network administration/engineering experience.
• Experience with multi-site or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and wireless.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure across multiple locations (wired, wireless, remote-access, internet).
• Configure and support enterprise routing, switching, security, and access control per standards.
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity, and security; document root cause and remediation.
• Participate in network projects from planning to handoff; ensure proper validation.
• Support corporate, manufacturing, and OT connectivity with segmentation and cyber security controls.
• Maintain documentation and assist with updates, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.
• Automate routine admin or reporting tasks and share knowledge with IT staff.
• Collaborate with teams and vendors to deliver effective technology solutions.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call travel as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
