Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support enterprise networking environments across Rochester, MN and Austin, MN. The role focuses on hands-on implementation with Cisco Catalyst platforms and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have strong networking fundamentals, Cisco deployment experience, and a mix of degree-based and experience-based qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least 2 years of professional technical experience
• Associate degree and at least 4 years of professional technical experience
• 6+ years of professional technical experience in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure
• Install and support Cisco switching and routing platforms
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and reliability issues across OSI 1-3
• Deploy and support access layer and distribution layer networking environments
• Participate in network upgrades, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure improvement initiatives
• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with engineering teams, project stakeholders, and operations personnel to ensure successful project delivery
