Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join the IT Infrastructure team. You will design, implement, monitor, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across corporate offices, advanced manufacturing facilities, and data centers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Cisco (Catalyst/Nexus/Wireless), Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience in Linux CLI, Python, and Shell scripting for network automation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and network security solutions.
• Develop and maintain network automation solutions using Python, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline network configuration, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows to eliminate repetitive manual tasks and improve deployment consistency and operational efficiency.
• Perform routine updates, patch management, system upgrades, and hardware refreshes. Continuously monitor network performance and metrics to optimize throughput.
• Implement and enforce network security measures to safeguard data and prevent unauthorized access; ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents across layers 1-7, collaborating with systems, cabling, and end users.
• Maintain topology diagrams, IP address management systems, runbooks, and inventories.
