Job summary

Cucamonga Valley Water District (CVWD) seeks a skilled Network Administrator to build, secure, and strengthen its technology supporting water delivery. This role covers enterprise systems, network infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.

You will configure, maintain, and troubleshoot networks and servers, document systems, and support disaster recovery planning. Strong expertise in security, WAN, and regulatory frameworks is required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience operating and supporting enterprise systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, cloud services, and networked equipment.
• CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent security certifications are desirable.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, COBIT, or PCI DSS.

Responsibilities

• Install, support, and maintain networks and servers; train IT staff on servers, network equipment, firewalls, and enterprise systems.
• Maintain documentation of data systems and network infrastructure.
• Monitor networks, systems, logs, and job queues; adjust as necessary.
• Manage system backups, data retention, and disaster recovery planning.
• Support cyber security measures and incident response.
