Job summary

The St. Johns River Water Management District is seeking an IT professional to design, implement, maintain, and enhance the District's enterprise network infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or MIS and two years of IT enterprise experience.
• Alternative: two-year vocational/technical program in CS or MIS with four years of IT experience.
• Experience substituting education on a year-for-year basis is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, document, and support enterprise network solutions with stakeholders.
• Implement and support network security technologies and access controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management for network infrastructure.
• Configure and monitor routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and cloud networking services.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, routing, switching, wireless, and cloud issues.
• Monitor performance, capacity, availability, and security metrics; propose improvements.
• Maintain proficiency through ongoing training and reading related literature.
