Job summary

ARETUM Holdings LLC's Veterans Engineering unit seeks an Enterprise Monitoring Analyst to support VA Event Management, enhancing triage and real-time incident handling across enterprise apps and platforms.

You will operate within the Enterprise Command Center (ECC) Major Incident and Event Management team, coordinating with DevOps and IT operations, and may work weekends or holidays as needed; travel to client locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or 13+ years of experience.
• 5+ years in systems administration and operations with performance monitoring and alerting.
• 5+ years in application/platform support including monitoring tool configuration and incident response.
• 5+ years deploying and troubleshooting enterprise-scale apps with cross-functional teams.
• 5+ years monitoring with at least two APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, SolarWinds).
• Experience across Unix/Linux, Windows, and mainframe environments; 1+ year cloud/containers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise applications and stacks to identify and triage incidents in real time.
• Collaborate with major incident management, monitoring, and DevOps teams.
• Correlate and deliver performance data across VA monitoring platforms for incident response.
• Escalate critical alerts to VA stakeholders using workflow systems.
• Serve as a technical SME with admins to refine alert thresholds and reduce false positives.
• Escalate monitoring tool issues to appropriate support teams and improve KB articles.
• Support enterprise triage and incident resolution while gaining VA system infrastructure experience.
• Participate in shift-based support including weekends and holidays.
