Job summary

EDF Energy is seeking a Platform Specialist to provide technical leadership for our Enterprise Mobility platforms, including iOS, Android, iPadOS and MacOS. You will guide device management standards and work with product teams, security, and operations to deliver secure, reliable and scalable mobile services using Microsoft Intune.

The role is hybrid, with occasional travel to UK offices. A strong background in ITIL practices, agile delivery with JIRA, and excellent problem-solving and

Qualifications

• Experience configuring enterprise mobile devices in iOS/Android/macOS environments.
• Strong knowledge of Intune and device management for security/compliance.
• Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and vendor tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for Enterprise services across mobile platforms.
• Lead decisions on device management standards and platform reliability.
• Collaborate with product, security and operations teams to keep platforms stable and scalable.
• Identify risks and support mitigation plans with product managers.
• Ensure high availability through capacity planning and robust operations.
• Oversee provisioning, configuration and monitoring of mobile devices and automate where possible.
• Engage with business units to align service priorities.
• Work with partner organisations to maintain services.
