Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced Director of Mobility & Executive Concierge Solutions Engineering to lead strategy, architecture, and engineering of the firm’s mobile platform. You will own iOS/iPadOS, Android, and tablet management via Intune and Workspace ONE, delivering secure, executive-grade mobile experiences in a regulated environment.

You will drive multi-year roadmaps, govern MDM/UEM platforms, and partner with Security and Risk to balance modernization with risk controls.

Qualifications

Experience leading technical engineering teams at scale in mobility or workplace technology.
Hands-on expertise in modern mobile management for iOS/Android.
Strong security, identity engineering, and zero-trust knowledge.

Responsibilities

Define and own multi-year strategy and engineering roadmap for Vanguard’s mobile platform (iPhone, iPad, Android).
Engineer and advance mobile device capabilities including zero-touch provisioning, BYOD, and zero-trust controls.
Design and develop executive-focused mobile solutions with automated configuration and self-healing capabilities.
Architect and govern MDM/UEM platforms (Intune and Workspace ONE) with compliance and resiliency.
Partner with Cybersecurity, Identity, and Risk to ensure secure-by-design mobile solutions meeting audit requirements.
Lead automation and infrastructure-as-code practices to scale capability delivery.
Instrument telemetry and fleet-health analytics to measure experience quality.
Manage high-risk changes with disciplined controls balancing velocity and stability.
Evaluate emerging mobile technologies and integrate them strategically.
Lead and mentor managers and engineers, building platform leadership and ownership.
