Job summary

CTG, a Cegeka company, is seeking an Application Developer for a 9-month engagement in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications using Java/JEE and related web technologies.

Strong experience with Java frameworks, data access, and system integration is required, along with Ruby/Groovy familiarity. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Professional experience developing and supporting enterprise applications using Java/JEE and web technologies.
• Experience with Java frameworks, enterprise architectures, data access, transaction management, and system integration.
• Knowledge of Ruby and/or Groovy, dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect-oriented programming, and functional programming.
• Experience with test-driven development, automated testing, batch processing, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications using Java/JEE and web technologies.
• Develop applications using Java frameworks and languages such as Ruby and Groovy.
• Implement enterprise application components, transaction management, Java objects, and enterprise system integrations.
• Apply dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect-oriented programming, functional programming, and data access principles.
• Develop batch processing solutions and automated tests using test-driven development practices.
• Support DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and application maintenance.
