Job summary

Ask IT Consulting Inc. is seeking a leader to manage and mentor a team of developers and analysts through the full project lifecycle.

The role involves driving proposals for future products, owning reusable component initiatives, and showcasing fluency in diverse technical product suites and business applications. The ideal candidate has strong J2EE architecture knowledge, core Java and DI framework experience (Spring, CDI, JBoss, Tomcat) with Hibernate, plus hands-on experience with source

Qualifications

• Experience with J2EE architecture and design.
• Preference for experience with core Java, J2EE, and DI frameworks (Spring, CDI, JBoss, Tomcat), as well as Hibernate Configuration (Connection, Dialect, Mappings).
• Experience with source control systems such as GIT, SVN or CVS.
• Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment is preferred.
• Experience with Groovy, Grails, Scala, Mobile, Angular.js, Node.js, Twitter Bootstrap and/or other controls and JQuery a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of developers and analysts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Investigate future oriented products and drive proposals including reusable components.
• Demonstrate fluency in technical aspects of a suite of products and business applications.
• Collaborate with team members to diagnose and resolve complex defects identified during testing.
