Job description

Purple, Rock, Scissors is seeking an Enterprise SAM / HAM Transformation & Audit Lead for one of our large entertainment clients in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will support large‑scale enterprise IT transformation initiatives centered around Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), governance modernization, asset intelligence, licensing optimization, and operational maturity. You’ll operate as a strategic SME and advisor across enterprise technology, procurement, governance, and operational teams to help organizations better understand, govern, optimize, and scale their hardware and software asset ecosystems.

This role is highly consultative and executive‑facing, requiring deep expertise across enterprise ITAM environments, licensing governance, technical debt analysis, tooling ecosystems, and operational transformation initiatives. You will help organizations assess current‑state maturity, identify risk and inefficiencies, and architect scalable long‑term SAM/HAM operating models.

Contract

Full‑Time Role (40 hours per week) - Based in Seattle, WA

Day to Day

• Act as a strategic SME and advisor across enterprise SAM/HAM transformation initiatives
• Consult with enterprise stakeholders around ITAM governance, tooling strategy, operational maturity, and asset optimization
• Help architect scalable frameworks for Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) programs
• Provide guidance around licensing governance, asset visibility, technical debt, and operational efficiency initiatives
• Support discovery conversations, roadmap planning, and transformation strategy alongside client leadership teams

Must Haves

• 12–20+ years of enterprise ITAM, SAM, and/or HAM experience
• Experience leading large‑scale enterprise SAM/HAM transformation initiatives
• Deep expertise in auditing software and hardware asset ecosystems across enterprise environments
• Strong experience evaluating organizational asset usage, licensing exposure, and technical debt accumulation
• Experience operating within Fortune 500 or highly matrixed enterprise organizations
• Strong understanding of Software Asset Management (SAM)
• Strong understanding of Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
• Strong understanding of Vendor and licensing governance
• Strong understanding of Procurement alignment
• Strong understanding of Operational maturity frameworks

Plusses

• Experience working alongside large SI partners such as Accenture, EY, Capgemini, or LTIMindtree
• Experience within media, entertainment, healthcare, hospitality, retail, or other highly decentralized enterprise environments
• Experience supporting enterprise software optimization or FinOps initiatives
• Strong ServiceNow ecosystem depth beyond SAM/HAM
• Experience with SaaS optimization
• Experience with vendor management offices (VMO)
• Experience with enterprise governance transformation initiatives
• Ability to support both strategic roadmap planning and operational execution alignment
• Experience building scalable SAM/HAM governance models across multiple business units or operating segments
