Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking an IT professional to manage software platforms through their full life cycle, ensuring performance, security, and compliance. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining production and non-production environments, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent experience, with preferred experience in relational databases and enterprise software management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with coursework in computing or information systems or four (4) years of equivalent combination of education, experience, certification and training.
• One (1) or more years of related computing systems management experience preferred, including relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Manage software platforms and service deployments through full life cycle.
• Install, configure, and maintain production and non-production environments for software applications.
• Maintain testing and validation processes; follow change management for configuration changes.
• Maintain documentation for software applications (SLA, MOUs, Run Books, Playbooks) and coordinate resources.
• Resolve customer-reported issues; work with vendors to fix defects and manage expectations.
• Assist with project communication to ensure common understanding of results and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
