Job summary

Clancy & Theys Construction Company is seeking an IT Intern for the Built to Lead Internship Program. This in-person internship offers hands-on experience supporting the enterprise IT environment, helping teams connect office, jobsite, and technology.

You’ll troubleshoot real-world challenges, deploy devices, and learn cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and business systems with mentorship from seasoned IT professionals. This role emphasizes curiosity, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and AI tools.
Strong problem-solving and customer service mindset.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities.
Able to learn quickly and work both independently and in a team.
Willingness to ask questions and tackle challenges.

Responsibilities

Set up, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and other technology.
Assist with user account creation, access requests, and other IT onboarding activities.
Support Clancy & Theys-specific applications and business systems.
Help maintain accurate hardware and software inventories.
Document IT procedures, knowledge articles, and support solutions.
Assist with technology projects, system upgrades, testing, and implementation activities.
Support jobsite and conference room technology, including audio/visual equipment.
Follow cybersecurity policies and best practices.
