Job summary

Clancy & Theys Construction Company invites students to participate in a Summer Construction Internship. This 10–12 week program offers hands-on exposure across project management, field operations, preconstruction, and safety.

Interns collaborate with experienced teams to learn how projects are planned, built, and delivered. Interns will gain experience in planning, safety initiatives, drawings review, and daily field support while building professional relationships and developing key industry

Qualifications

Enrolled in a relevant program or certificate track.
Open to students pursuing construction-related studies.
Interest in gaining hands-on experience across project stages.
Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist with project planning, coordination, and execution.
Participate in jobsite safety initiatives and learn industry best practices.
Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.
Support project managers, superintendents, and field teams in day-to-day operations.
Observe subcontractor coordination and quality control processes.
Gain exposure to preconstruction planning, estimating, and budgeting activities.
Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities.
Build relationships with mentors and industry professionals across the company.
